Usage: Evening Primrose Oil is one of the few natural sources of polyunsaturated fat called C-linoleic acid (GLA). The GLA is a precursor of a particularly important prostaglandin called PGE1, which takes part in the regulation of the nervous system, cardiovascular and reproductive system, skin health and other biological functions.

While the body can make GLA from linoleic acid (omega 6 fatty acid found in vegetable oils), this conversion is sometimes slow or completely inhibited.
