Acidophilus Extra 4

Our gastrointestinal system contains billions of bacteria, most of which are harmless. However, a favorable balance between beneficial and pathogenic bacteria must be maintained in order to maintain a healthy gastrointestinal tract.

The Acidophilus Extra 4 of Lamberts, a composition without addition of milk, containing 4 billion friendly bacteria per capsule (at the time of preparation). While Acidophilus is stable at room temperature, to ensure maximum potency, store it in the refrigerator. Also, each package includes a special coating that prevents moisture which is known to contribute to the deterioration of the viability of the bacteria.

The bacteria contained in Acidophilus Extra 4 is dried at high temperatures and is surrounded by an acid resistant polysaccharide covering, protecting it from the acidic ph stomach.
